Training Bleed Through
It doesn't exist from what I could find in your documentation, but I'm getting

seems < function > content < / function > :: but more routinely < function > content < / function_calls > (call or calls i can't member)
Not sure if it's qwen or gemma iirc you said u use? never used that one myself
And yes, I was originally setup for the tool call like your doc states, had to add an xml schema since the model fought tooth and nail
I was attempting to do some identity work and the model keeps spitting out 'I'm Claude by Anthropic' and refuses to do stuff because it thinks I'm doing roleplay. It's quite nice when it's operational! In all fairness I'm building the IE so I may not being doing things quite right. :)
